Meeting with Gwenaëlle: My Path to Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and Sharing Through Writing

Hello, I'm Gwenaëlle, passionate about languages and cultures, currently in France and preparing for an educational adventure in South Korea. This article is an open window into my journey, aspirations, and motivations to share my experiences and knowledge through writing.

My Story: A Passion for Languages and Cultures

Originally from France, I have long been drawn to the cultural and linguistic richness of South Korea. My academic journey, marked by degrees in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) and language teaching methodology, reflects my commitment to becoming an expert in teaching French to a Korean audience.

A Diversified Academic Journey

My educational journey has led me to earn a University Diploma in FLE, a Bachelor's degree in Plural Cultures, Territories, and Societies, and a Master's in Language Didactics. I am currently on my way to obtaining a Master's 2, supplemented by various additional training programs.

Why Teach FLE and Why South Korea?

My goal is to contribute to the teaching of French in South Korea. I aim to continue my studies with a Ph.D. there, to develop adapted and innovative pedagogical content, relying on my knowledge of Korean language and culture.

Writing to Connect, Share, and Inspire

I have chosen to embark on writing articles to share my knowledge, experiences, and, most importantly, to create a space for connection with people who share the same interests. Writing is for me a means to break isolation, exchange ideas, and offer support to those who, like me, embark on the adventure of teaching FLE or expatriation.

My Commitment and Determination

With unwavering determination, I am ready to face the challenges that come my way. My commitment to teaching and my passion for sharing knowledge are the driving forces of my journey.

In Search of Opportunities

I am looking for a doctoral opportunity or a doctoral contract for 2024. I am open to all proposals that could help me realize my project for a joint Ph.D. between France and Korea.

Conclusion

Through this article, I hope to open the doors to communication and exchange. Your support, ideas, and opportunities could be crucial in achieving my goals. Together, let's explore the infinite possibilities of teaching FLE.
